It's been a long time since I've seen an ad from New Era,(15-20yrs) so I had no idea they branched out into gem specimens. When they first started years ago - it was strictly faceting rough for sale. I guess this is a profitable offshoot. I remember large AAA facet grade Tanzanite rough being sold for $10-$15 carat back in the 80's. How time have changed.
