Here’s a sample of some minerals I will be selling before Christmas time. Chrysocolla from Peru, kunzite from Pakistan, chrysoprase from Tanzania, and rhodochrosite from Argentina. The chrysoprase is from a new discovery and is not as translucent as the nice Aussie stuff, but the color is first rate, and there are fewer inclusions. The rhodochrosite is old stock and becoming hard to find, this piece comes from a larger parcel that will be up for sale. I’ll also probably have some other things on hand like jasper, agate, fossil algae, etc. The silver dollar is for scale but not for sale.

Chris,
I haven't tried to facet kunzite. I haven't done faceting for awhile since my grandmother owns the faceting machine. I did more cabochoning than faceting. The kunzite turned out a little dark in the photo although it is a light shade of lavender and has less of the pink shade. I did buy a beautiful 8 carat stone on ebay for a great price but resold later at a profit.
