That's a nice piece of variscite you have. I've seen another type of variscite of what I call "concretion". Looks like a bunch of roundish concretions with the outer layers dark green and turning lighter as it goes inward. Would make for some spectacular cutting material if only the patterns weren't so large. Think that piece came from Utah also but not sure.
The other side of that specimen looks a little more like it has concretions, not quite, but it does appear to have a very cemented white conglomerate of angular stones with some green mixed in. There is at least one other area that produced Variscite in Utah, and I believe there were three total, one in UT county, this location in Lucin, and one in Southern Utah.
