Gem ShowWell, I went to a gem show last weekend and picked up a couple specimens at good prices. The amethyst crystal was 65 and the chrysocolla was 37.50 (half off). The chrysocolla is from the Star of the Congo Mine, Lubumbashi, Katanga Province, Republic of Congo. The amethyst is from the Anahi Mine, Bolivia. Both are from the "Bill Paze Collection".

Hey RewB
Yeah those are nice. What Gem show? Did you make the Tucson? I'm in Phoenix and went there 3 times and now I wished I went everyday. Can't wait till next year. On my 2 week trip I hope to have a truck full on gold meteors and minerals. Leaving friday.

azaware,
Just a fairly small local show. Yeah the Tucsons show is the show to end all shows. Lots of the best minerals and gems in the country enter the US via that grand daddy gem show.

Cool looking boytroidal Chrysocolla specimen. I have some boytroidal turquoise from here in Nevada.

Chris,
I'm interested in purchasing a little of your turquoise. Shoot me a personal message with a few price ranges and/or e-mail me a few photos if needed. I would be interested in cabbing rough or already cabbed stones.
Thanks
Rex B.

There was a show in Auburn last weekend, but I couldn't make it. Just too busy.
