Great information, I have been meaning to post a google earth map that shows some of the places SW of Winnemucca that you also have on a portion of one of your maps. I'll go ahead and add that now and mention to refer to your maps for more detail as well as mention a couple good books on the subject. |

Hey Chris,
Couple of questions.
Always intended to work the Rye Patch, just haven't got around to it yet.
The good wife is a coin shooter and don't care much for the nugget shooting thing as she wants to hear a signal every few feet or so.
Question is do they allow one to work the lake beaches and is the lake warm or still cold in the summer??

I dont know - I detected the little campground below the dam, and no one gave me any grief, but you never know - one ranger says OK, the next says no.
Try to find one of the ones who say "yes".
