Here are some very large and rare emerald specimens I thought some might enjoy. They are not mine, and the price on the largest one is 35k.

Chris,
All I know is that they were mined in Brazil-Bahia. These will probably be on display in Tucson since the fellow who owns them will be set up at the InnSuites show Jan 27 - Feb 10. Here's a link to these and several other items for sale:

I've traded a few rubies and sapphires with the owner since he currently collects corundum. He had Carolina Corundum on his wish list since he still hoped for more samples in his collection.

Hi all
Just bought a Parcel of rough emerald ,in matrix about 1000 crt. on E bay.Didnt expect much and was not disapointed. 15$ AU. Just giving them an Acid bath,to get rid of the Matrix.hope it works.........Jimini |

I bought some mine rough (on ebay) that came from brazil; perhaps from the Minas Gerais area, that had emerald crystals in it. in 3 pounds of rough, @ $8/pound, I had maybe 50 emeralds (similar to the color above) that were 1/4" or larger.
