Dave is saying that his new Nemesis gold detector will, maybe, he hopes by March if not later.
The only thing for sure three of his dealers are Steve Herschbach in Alaska, Gerry's detectors and Dixie metal detectors. Now nobody has received a test unit yet but Dave did call them and said he will have his detector out soon.
Alot of people are more concern about the name but I don't care what you call it just so it's works.
Gerry and Steve said they give a field report after they had time to do so.

Yep, if it works, I may be quickly in line to get one, as will others I'm sure. However, I'm not considering it until I get some good reliable positive feedback from multiple sources on U.S. soil. The name is kind of "unique" but if you understand the meaning behind it, it sort of comes into focus. I still would like a name along the lines of the PX6000, or GD9000, the AURA detector, Pulse Premier, etc., etc.

You could say hey guys I want to show you this hot new detector that Dave Emery just put out called the GoldSeeker. It's as good as GP 4000 and in alot of ways it out does it.You won't believe how much lower in price it is.

PS I just told Dave to send me one so I can test it out for myself and I'll give a field report on it.They were talking about it and other things on prospectingoz.

Howdy folks,

Before you act like idiots by shouting "smoke and Mirrors" I want you to ask yourselves WHY I would want to devote so much of my time to only pretend to come out with a new detector?

If you take the time to email Gerry McMullen in Idaho he will tell you thet he has personally seen two of my detectors at Ganes Creek Alaska.

As to the name, Nemesis was a Greek God. Look her up on Google.

Think about some of the new car names coming out. How about Mazda's new "Mazda Bongo Friendee" or the Suzuki "alto afternoon tea". How about the "Mitsubishi Charisma"?

Now as I remember it, the SD2000 was short for "Super Detector" 2000. WOW!!! I bet that got you all excited. Hot Daang!!!

Get a life.

I assure you that you will soon be hearing from Steve, Gerry, Dave and Reg Sniff about how well the detector does or does not work.

I have done my best to get it right. There seems to be no doubt of its abilities as a coin hunter in Europe. Coins have been found to depths of 20 inches using a ten inch coil.

The Nemesis has perfomed better than any of its competition in Europe as a coin hunter. This includes Minelab's top VLF detectors.

All I ask is that you all stop spitting venom until the tests from the US distributors are in. There is no need for this nonsense to continue.

I don't know why I am getting so much flack from the USA. Maybe a lot of detector types here in the USA simply have a screw loose?

I have not received this kind of treatment from Europe although there are a few real fruitcakes in Australia. Luckily, they are a very small minority.

Hey, I have yet to take a single order or a single penny for my detectors. Why would I BS you? It would make no sense. Just who am I robbing?

Go join the Prospecting in Oz site and you can see pictures of no less than three of my protoypes. two of these were photographed in Alaska.

I will gladly answer anyones questions but I will not participate in the kind of childish banter that some of you have posted here.

All the best, Dave. * * *

Dave,

Thanks for your post. I just think folks are kind of jaded these days. They saw the initial phase of the Goldscan (to mention one of the relatively more semi-successful alternative gold detectors) and that is stuck in everyone's head as a design that did not work as well in the field when it came to sensitivity. As I understand it, the design has been improved since the initial release. Also, the Auquest and some other detectors which apparently failed to live up to expectations have got people wondering if anything will ever really be a viable alternative to the present Minelab technology. I think you're wise to try to make sure your design is right for it's initial release. Some have also expressed concern that the design will never come out any time soon, since it appears you are a perfectionist as well. I for one don't doubt your competence and will still wait to hear the feedback, as I'm sure you would also do when evaluating the merits of a new detector in the field. I look forward to the results. I've attached a photo from prospecting OZ.

Rex

Dave Emery on the new OZ. forum said he will have about 20 Nemesis out in about two weeks. He said he has added a stand to it and made some changes in other ways.
I don't think that any nugget hunting has been done with it but more coin hunting so this may be prototype detectors going out.
